Birmingham Council Removes Union Flags While Displaying Foreign Flags

Don’t be ridiculous — a council removing Union Flags in the UK because it could cause a hazard or is offensive to others.

Yeah, Birmingham City Council removing Union Flags from lamp posts and flagpoles but very happy to display the flag of Pakistan and very happy to display Palestinian flags. They don’t have a problem with that

They’ve even lit up the local library in the colours of the Pakistani flag, and they also last night lit up the same library in the same colours as the flag of India.

Brilliant — VJ Day today. So I wonder what’s going to happen for that today, seeing that you’re removing Union Flags — Union Flags that represent Great Britain, that represent England — yet you’re not happy with that.

It’s almost unbelievable, isn’t it? But it’s true and it’s happening. This is Birmingham Council, that can send out workers to remove all these flags but they can’t pick up their own rubbish.

They can’t clean up their streets that are filthy, dirty, and stinking, and allowed thousands of Pakistanis last night to celebrate Pakistan Independence Day in England.

If these people are so joyous and happy that Pakistan got its independence, why aren’t they in Pakistan celebrating? Why are they celebrating that in this country?

But more to the point, why are some of these people offended by the Union Flag?

Why are the councils allowing them to be offended by this country’s national flag?

You can’t write this anymore — but it’s getting worse and worse.
