Machete Incident In Calais Migrant Camp Involving UK MPs

Conservative MPs Chris Felps and Robert Jenrick have reportedly been threatened with a machete during a visit to a migrant camp in Calais.

The incident occurred within the last hour as the MPs toured the area to observe conditions and assess the French police response to illegal migration.

The MPs visited locations where small boats are frequently launched towards the UK. According to the account, there was no police presence in these high-traffic areas.

They entered a migrant camp split between Eritrean and Afghan nationals. While speaking with one migrant, another allegedly produced a machete and threatened them. Security personnel quickly removed the MPs from the scene.
